TxESI's research has led to an exciting, new application for TxESI technology in human and veterinary medicine. TxESI determined that the best way to exploit this discover was to form a pharmaceutical company. This company formed in February 2007 and is called Salient Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Salient will develop pharmaceutical applications of the TxESI technology for the prevention and treatment of diarrhea associated with cancer and cancer therapy in animals and man.
