Texas EnteroSorbents, Inc. (TxESI) Mission:
TxESI will develop, deploy and market products that will mitigate the effects of environmental toxicants - specifically "forever chemicals"/persistant organic polluntants (POPs) in soil and water. Additionally, TxESI food additive products adsorb mycotoxins (aflatoxin/fumonisin) in food products and prevent aflatoxicosis in animals and humans.
TxESI has developed and marketed products that are the combination of Calcium Silicoaluminate (CSA) and Acidic Calcium Sulfate (ACS) for human and animal food and feed preservative applications. Environmental applications are acid processed montomorillinite (APMs) for incorporation directly into contaminated soils and water filtration systems. APMs have been demonstrated to adsorb hazardous environmental chemicals such as PFAS, PCBs, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PHAs), pesticides, plasticizers, commercial solvents, toxic metals, and nano plastics.

The human aflatoxin mitigant is called ACCS100 (UPSN). When given to humans as a food additive, it can significantly decrease the uptake and resorption of mycotoxins (aflatoxin/fumonisn) and their metabolites. This research can be reviewed at www.yourclay.com.
Our food-preservative, toxicant-mitigating products are called Clay Acid Product Combinations (CAPC) and have uses as food additives, antimicrobials in food contact packaging, and many other food/produce related applications. These products can also adsorb toxicants in a dry food matrix.
